I am APPALLED at the audacity of all this! Like Russell Simmons stated, Jay-Z took a movement that was created to rise AGAINST control from corporations, and took it to w whole new level where his OWN corporation can benefit from it! His insistence on making an empire out of the movement IS exploitation in it’s highest form. Occupy Wall Street movement is about the 99% coming together to rebel against the 1% who seem to hold all power. Jay-Z is NOT part of the 99%. Not just because of his financial wealth but also because he CLEARLY stated that on his OWN T-shirt. He is saying that he is a corporate mogul who will jump on a popular bandwagon to make a buck. A buck that, let’s face it, he doesn’t even NEED to make because he is already financially abundant! And to make a mockery worse, he isn’t even given ANY proceeds to the movement that he is ripping off? What Jay-Z IS, is a great businessman. What he is NOT is moral. And I am hoping that this will inspire the Occupy Wall Street Movement to become even MORE ferocious. Because Jay-Z is displaying on his own body EVERYTHING that we need to be reminded to rebel against!
